Aluxcor® ZN98/2 Zinc-Aluminum Flux-Cored Brazing Alloy

• Melting Range of 377°C - 385°C

• ZN98 cadmium-free zinc-aluminum flux-cored brazing alloy

• Core design releases the flux only after sufficient preheating so both the flux and alloy flows at the right time into the capillary

• Lower melting temperature and wider melting range than aluminum silicon alloys

• Strict flux percentage tolerance ensures that the flux is consistent throughout the wire for repeatable high performance flow of the alloy

• Has a non-corrosive and non-hygroscopic cesium flux with no flux binder

• A good choice for joining aluminum alloys of the 1000, 3000 and 6000 series

• Used to join aluminum-to-copper

• Recommended joint clearance of 0.003 in. - 0.005 in. (0.08 mm - 0.13 mm)

• Proprietary custom flux blends available for customer specific applications
