Aluminum Bronze A2 GTAW (TIG) Welding Alloy



• Designed for joining aluminum bronze base metals, welding brass, steel and a variety of dissimilar metals

• Often used in marine hardware exposed to salt water and other acidic conditions

• This strong and tough alloy provides exceptional corrosion and wear resistance

• Preheat is generally not required unless welding high copper content base metals

• Typical applications include overlays on shafts, propellers, housings, couplings, bushings, valve seats and pumps

• Use with 100% argon or 25%/75% argon/helium shielding gas mixture

• 2.4mm x 908mm

• Sold as a 4.5kg pack
