Harris® 170 Bare Nickel-Silver Brazing Alloy



• 170 copper-zinc-nickel GTAW (TIG) welding rod

• The addition of nickel provides hardness and strength

• Used for braze welding steel and cast iron

• Ideal for overlays and build-up on equipment and surfaces subject to wear

• Good flow and machinability

• Typical applications are overlays and build-up of gear teeth, shafts, bearings, valve seats and pistons

• Can be used for brazing tungsten carbide to steel

• Also used to join ferrous and non-ferrous metals

• 1.6mm x 918mm Brazing Alloy

• Sold as a 5kg pack
